Spring Is In The Air, Or Atleast In My Magazines.

Here are some of my favorite Spring 2011 ads that have been popping up lately.
Tom Ford Eyewear featuring Abbey Lee Kershaw
I always loved Abbey, and I like her in pretty much every ad and editorial I've seen featuring her. Did you spot her blue sequins dress?

Gucci Spring 2011, photographed by Mert & Marcus
Gucci ads always make my heart melt. They always look so effortless and chic.

Bally featuring Constance Jablonski
Anyone that knows me know I absolutely love colors. I work next door to Bally in Copley Place and it's pretty dark inside now because they still have their Winter line, so I can't wait to see all these spring pieces! Not to mention, I love the Terry Richardson-esque photo.

Giuseppe Zanotti Spring 2011 featuring Anja Rubik
Anja Rubik looks amazing against a white background, but it's the accessories that really stand out in these ads for me, the sparkles, the mirrors, gahhh.

...In The Morning

As soon as I heard J.Cole's "In The Morning", I feel in love. While surfing facebook this morning, my big homie Sour Dee posted Fab's remix to the song.
Catch Dee at his next party this Friday 1/7/11 at Lot 401.
You can also catch him at Sidebar on Saturday night along with his Friday night's at 401! Here I am at one of his parties during Thanksgiving break:

Shhhhh...LFTDR is on!

Here are  some behind the scenes photos I was able to snap while returning to LFTDR at MusicFeen before my camera died (hence why I am in none of them!). I really miss being on Live From The Dorm Room every Sunday. It's always a cool vibe in there, and I'm glad I got to rock out with them last weekend. Be sure to catch the show every Sunday on www.Musicfeen.com at 10pm, AND to keep up with all things LFTDR, be sure to log on to LFTDR.com!

This Must Be It

I've always liked electropop/electronic/house music, especially working at Coach since it can often be found on our playlist. However, as of late, it's been taking over my iTouch. This is a Florian Miendl remix to Royksopp's "This Must Be It". *Jumps around room in men's buttondown & leggings.

What Happened To That Girl?

I've definitely not been keeping up with my blogging lately, but with good reason of course. Last semester most of you know, I worked at an Elementary School in Newton, Massachusetts as well as working at Coach. Some weeks I'd work around 60 to eve 70hrs a week, never below 50. It's only natural that blogging would take a backseat. However, it was really cool to me that in casual conversation, people would tell me I need to get back on the horse, so my only resolution in 2011, is to keep up with BW&SAO, which should be easier since I won't be working nearly as much.
I'd like to use this time to thank all my regular readers! It blows my mind that a hobby has turned into a site with over 26,000 views with no heavy promotional campaigns. Thanks again guys, & I'm back off unofficial hiatus!

I Really Don't Want No Hassle

As of late, I've fallen in love all over again with Swedish electropop star Robyn. She came out in the late 90's, and now she's buzzing again in the US with her trilogy of albums, Body Talk. "Dancehall Queen" is off of Body Talk. I absolutely love this song, & wanted to find the video. Robyn isn't in the video at all, rather it is Asian influenced. If you look into dancehall competitions, you'll have no questions why.
Also d/l "Dancing On My Own", "Call Your Girlfriend", "Indestructible", and "Don't Fucking Tell Me What To Do"

Just The Way You Are

Big shoutout to the homie Steve Lovell.

Sharp

"I must say, I am trying to live my life with a sharpie marker approach. You can’t erase the strokes you’ve made, but each step is much bolder and more deliberate."

Blue skies are in the forecast.
How lovely would it be to skip through the ocean covered in leopard print?

Love, Love

Pamela Love's Talon Cuff. This would look so dope with my new watch. If only I could get my little hands on it.

Nostalgic

Top of the World.

I cannot wait to see them in Providence this December.
